After baking a disastrous pineapple bread, I went out to Kohlman Park to feed the geese. Apparently these geese were not used to being fed. Back home in Rochester, there is a lake where the geese will attack your hands if they are holding any food. In Waverly, it was a different story. The parents were still very cautious of me and didn't approach the bread until after I backed away. They would hiss at me, gobble up some bread, hiss again and repeat. The youngsters were a little more adventurous and swarmed the big chunks of bread throwing caution of the wind.
